Michael Tougias visits Plumb

We had a very successful author program last night.  Michael Tougias gave a slide presentation on his newest book The Finest Hours, about a Coast Guard rescue of two split oil tankers off Cape Cod during a blizzard in 1952.  25 people came to meet Mr. Tougias and see his spectacular slides taken by a CG airplane during the rescues.  Considering the conditions, it was amazing that they lost as few people as they did.  Many purchased his books and had them autographed.

Pray for no rain so we can have tonight’s Family Concert!
