Interesting things to read

We read a lot of other blogs, mostly about libraries, books, and reading. So periodically, we will post interesting entries here.

This is a great article about the closing of the original Borders in Ann Arbor, MI. Equally interesting are the comments at the end.

Are Mass Market paperbacks a thing of the past? Personally, I’d rather see hardcovers go out of fashion.

Here’s a great list of exciting titles to reserve in the fall. We all liked The Night Circus very much.

And, lastly, this humorous video from Chris Matthews. Seems Amazon is going to start lending ebooks to their Prime customers. Hmmm, who does THAT sound like? And Amazon will be charging an annual fee. Hmmm, who already does this for free?
