Getting Caught up

1. We will be presenting “Coffee with the Candidates” this Saturday, March 23 from 10:00 – 11:30. Meet the candidates for local office in an informal setting. Coffee and pastries provided by the Friends of Plumb Library.

2. If you got an account with Library Elf through SAILS, you may have received an email stating that SAILS is no longer providing this service, since they themselves provide the same services. In case you didn’t know, you can get your overdue and/or hold notices by phone, text message or email. If you have a portable device, such as an iPad, iPhone, iPod, Xoom, or other Android device, you can download the Bookmyne app from the app store. Bookmyne lets you see your accounts, search, place holds, and renew your items. If you’d like to continue with Library Elf, you can, but only with a limited subscription. If you have any questions about this, or about Bookmyne, ask the staff. We all use Bookmyne.

3. April is Poetry Month, and we will be posting examples of Book Spine Poetry here and on our Facebook page. Try some Book Spine poetry with your books, and send us the pictures. We’ll post them on Facebook. Look HERE for some examples.
